JULÉ TRAVEL PRIVACY POLICY


Our Privacy Policy at Julé Travel has several fundamental principles:

 

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.

  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

Collection and Use of Information Concerning Visitors to Our Site
Like most website operators, Julé Travel collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Julé Travel’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use the Site. From time to time, Julé Travel may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our Site.

 

Collection and Use of Information Concerning Members.
Julé Travel’s objective is to provide Members with a high quality, reliable, user friendly, secure, efficient and personalized online platform through which Members may list accommodations for rent or exchange. Julé Travel collects personal information from Members who register on our Site in order to administer our business. Julé Travel will not sell or rent any personal information about you to any third party.

Under normal circumstances, Julé Travel does not share the identity, address or email address or other contact details of a Member with other visitors to the Site, but facilitates communications regarding rentals or exchanges of Accommodations with Members through a messaging system on the Site. Circumstances may arise through the course of a rental or exchange in which one party to the transaction may have an urgent need to contact the property owner or their exchange partner. Under those circumstances, Julé Travel may, at our sole and absolute discretion, provide a Member's contact information to the Lodger or the other Member.

If you choose not to provide us with personal information then we may be unable to provide you with our services.

 

You consent to our use of your personal information for the purposes of:

  • providing you with our services;

  • responding to requests for information from you;

  • marketing and advertising our services; and

  • providing you with information that we believe may be of interest to you (if you do not wish to receive marketing communications from Julé Travel, you may opt out by sending an email making the request to cara@juletravel.com).

 

The only information concerning you which will be posted on the Site is the information which you chose to display on your Listing, or which other users of the Site may choose to provide as reviews and comments concerning your Listing. Other Members and the visitors to the Site can view the Listing information and any reviews or comments. The content of our Site is protected by copyright; however Julé Travel cannot prevent third parties from copying or distributing information publicly available on other websites. Such action by third parties would breach the Terms and Conditions of use of our Site and Julé Travel would take any such a breach seriously and would prosecute any party found to be copying information from the Site in breach of our Terms and Conditions.

 

Third Party Advertising.
Ads appearing on our Site may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Julé Travel and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. If you have set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You may refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser; however, certain features of our Site may require a cookie for access.

 

Management of Personal Information
After registration, Members can review and edit their information such as billing address, email address and password through the Site. Julé Travel reserves the right to retain information about Members’ Listings, communications and account in order to enforce our Terms and Conditions, analyze customer experiences to improve the business and resolve disputes. Members should not expect that all their personal information will be removed from our databases after termination of membership.

 

Financial Information
Julé Travel may require certain information, including but not limited to your name, address and credit card billing information to bill you for your membership fee. We may share certain information about you with those of our vendors who are responsible for handling your account or performing other services that you require (including vendors who may update your credit card expiration date and credit card account number). Although we may share sensitive financial information (i.e., credit card numbers, banking information), security information (e.g., account passwords) and personal communications (e.g., personal e-mail messages or message board postings) with such vendors where necessary and appropriate, we will not share such information with other third parties, except in response to formal requests (e.g., subpoena or court order) made in connection with litigation, arbitration, or criminal proceedings directly relating to the services we provide, or as directed by you or your agent.

 

Data Security
The information we receive from or about you is stored on systems designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of that information. We also encrypt your transmission of sensitive information to us (e.g., credit card numbers, account passwords) in the interest of heightened privacy protection and information integrity. However, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure. Consequently Julé Travel does not warrant the security of information that you transmit to Julé Travel through the Site. Although Julé Travel takes reasonable industry-standard measures (such as firewalls, secure network links, password protection and anti-virus protection) to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, misuse or loss, we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will be unable to access your personal information. Such unauthorized access would be a breach of our Terms and Conditions. Upon becoming aware of such unauthorized access, Julé Travel will advise you and bring such unauthorized access to the attention of law enforcement authorities.

 

Business Transfers
If Julé Travel, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the event that Julé Travel goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Julé Travel may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Julé Travel reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately on publication on the Site. Julé Travel encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to our Privacy Policy.
